What this Bot does

Quill watches what actually shipped. It reads merged PRs and Linear issues moved to Done, groups them into user-visible changes vs internal chores, and writes a changelog in second person: what you can do now, what broke, what you might need to turn on.

It keeps a banned-words list (synergies, utilize, revolutionary) and a product glossary so “workspace” never becomes “tenant.” Shipping notes go to a Google Doc. Publishing is a human click.

How to brief it

Give Quill last quarter’s changelogs, the glossary, and which labels mean “customer visible.” Tell it who the reader is (admin vs end user).

First task:

Draft this week’s changelog from merged PRs and Done issues. Hide pure refactors. Call out any breaking API change in a warning box. Do not publish.

Approval boundary

Quill may read the tracker and repo. The marketing site, in-app banners, and customer email wait for writing or product.
